My Mother’s Day was spent with our family diamond, my mother. We had a joyous 4 day weekend of laughter, fun, and food. Mom was delighted to see her children and grandchildren.

"There is a purpose in becoming." This has been coming up quite a bit lately. Either I have asked or other women have asked me for themselves.
"You are allowed to emerge slowly." This statement allows me to exhale. In life, I have been made to feel that I must always be doing something when I really need to slow down, reflect, set boundaries and move with purpose.

Hi Barb, Loved your blog. There are some deep truths in your words. I’m on a journey that has had so many twist and turns that it’s hard to find the right road. I can only trust that God knows where my journey will go next and will lead me to the light eventually. For now I will wait and pray and hope for a better day. Thanks Barb, you give me patience.

Thank you Barb! As I read this, I had to stop and sit with the words you wrote. It made me reflect on my life changes. I love how you remind us that transformation takes time, like the butterfly, and that we're allowed to emerge slowly. These are good words for me to here at this stage in my life. Thank you.
